IDIDARIDE XIII is a bicycle challenge ride. It is NOT a race. It is an off-road endurance ride through woodlands
along the Suwannee River. Approximately 50 miles of singletrack trails and woods roads have been linked
to form a continuous route with minimum of pavement. This route has terrain, stream crossings, and distance to
challenge all off road riders.
Checkpoints, Sag-stops, Bail-out Points: At several checkpoints along the route SBA will monitor progress
of riders. Food, beverage and mechanical support will be available at these stations. Bail-out points are
marked, if riders are unable to complete the entire ride.
Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner: Entry fee includes continental breakfast, mid-ride lunch and a buffet dinner
provided by Dixie Grill after the ride.
WHERE-WHEN-WHO: IDIDARIDE XIII starts at the Suwannee Bicycle Association headquarters in downtown
White Springs. White Springs is northeast of the intersection of I-75 and I-10. From I-10, take Exit 43 and
go north on US 41 for eight miles. From I-75, take Exit 439 and go east on SR 136 for three miles. SBA Headquarters
is just past the flashing light at the intersection of US 41 and SR 136.
IDIDARIDE XIII starts at 9 AM, Saturday, January 20, 2007.
IDIDARIDE is sponsored by the Suwannee Bicycle Association, a non profit organization promoting
bicycling, environmental education and appreciation of the Suwannee region. All proceeds from the event
are used to develop more off-road bicycle trails and other facilities.

Staffing. A few good volunteers are needed to help organize this event, i.e. help with registration, marking the
route, collecting arrows afterwards, sag stops, food and clean-up. A limited number of volunteers will be able to
ride at no charge. PLEASE NOTE: you must be a current SBA member to volunteer AND RIDE during the
event. Event assistance is a great way for non-riders to earn T-shirts and participate in the fun. Circle the word, “STAFF,” and return the form no later than January 5, 2007.
IDIDARIDE participation is limited (by land managers and trail carrying capacity) to the first 300 registrants.
Registration fills well in advance of the event; DO NOT WAIT. The first 300 registrants will receive confirmation
by e-mail or stamped mail prior to the event. Registrations received over the 300 limit will be returned.
Registration Details: Entry fee is $45 with $5 discount for SBA members. Anyone under 18 years of age must
have parent or guardian’s signature in order to participate. After the final deadline, refunds cannot be issued, as
fees are expended for meals, snacks, rider numbers, T-shirts and other support services.
Riding Ethics and Etiquette: Sponsors of this event require riding styles that minimize impacts
on land, i.e. not riding in environmentally sensitive areas, up or down steep embankments or
through wet areas. Where “WALK BIKE” signs are posted, please do so. Don’t skid or take other
actions that churn up the surface and cause problems. Slower riders should yield to faster ones.
Please be courteous. These trails are also used by hikers. Always yield right of way to people on foot;
graciously make them aware of your presence with friendly greetings and pass courteously (slowly). A portion of
this ride is on private property with use by special permission only.
