Off-road riding for all levels of riders from beginners to experts. White Springs includes over 60 miles of trails and/or drive to San Felasco and/or Anderson Springs for more trails. Night rides offered.
Beginner Mountain Bike Clinic – Learn basic skills on Saturday morning and then ride the trails with more confidence. Taught by Mike Kelley, a certified instructor, with years of experience and a former member of the Alachua County Fire Rescue Bike Team who has taught mountain biking classes at Sante Fe Community College and in Costa Rica and Mexico. He also a certified instructor for outdoor wilderness emergency response training and an SBA ride guide.
Canoe/Kayak 6 miles (3-4 hours) on Suwannee River. SBA will transport the boats to the put in point and the group will car pool. Participants may rent canoes or kayaks. Please bring the following items, clothing for weather conditions, shoes that can get wet, sun screen, hat, water and snacks.
Eco Photo Tour – Bring your camera and join Edwin McCook, Suwannee River Water Management District, to explore and capture the natural beauty of the Suwannee Valley as on a leisurely hayride from Woods Ferry through the woods to Mattair Springs and then to Suwannee Springs.
Road riding; Bring your skinny tire (road) bike and enjoy the scenic country roads around White Springs (unguided; maps available)
Try the Triple Challenge, Sunday at Stephen Foster State Park, 2 mi. trail run, 3 mi. paddle and 5 mi. off road biking. Entry fee: $10 solo; $15 2-man team. Provide your own kayaks/canoes. Must be registered for Fat Tire Festival to enter.
The Gar Pond Gallop, Saturday, 6 hour endurance challenge. Separate registration and entry fee required at www.Active.com or www.GoneRiding.com.

Ride Guides
All interested riders that want to be a ride guide are required to attend SBA Ride Guide Training offered during our Open House weekends in Sept. and Oct. Only a limited number of ride guides will be accepted, so register early!

Volunteering?
Positions are limited and assigned on a first come basis. All volunteers should be members and to help defray expenses will pay a reduced registration fee of only $20. Contact Sam Veal at 904.465.2426 or saveal@bellsouth.net.
Registration Rules
- Participants under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or other responsible adult. List name of accompanying adult, if parent will not be present.
- Accommodations, lunch, Try the Triple Challenge and The Gar Pond Gallop are not included in your registration fee.
- Registration fee does not cover paddle trips.
- No refunds.
