The Suwannee Bicycle Association is a non-profit, membership organization formed to promote environmental awareness and family fitness through bicycling and other outdoor activities in the Suwannee River region. Located in White Springs, Florida, the organization seeks to help people obtain a greater understanding and appreciation of natural ecosystems, history and cultural heritage of the Suwannee River Region.

The Suwannee Bicycle Association is affiliated with Adventure Cycling Association, League of American Bicyclists, International Mountain Bike Association (IMBA), and NORBA. SBA supports the efforts of Hostelling International. SBA conducts educational trips, bicycling, hiking and canoeing in the region, maintains a headquarters building with a libarary of resouce materials and maps. SBA publishes and distributes educational brochures and pamphlets about the region. SBA also helps develop and maintain public bicycle, hiking, and canoe trails and helps establish environmental interpretation facilites along them.

Suwannee Bicycle Association is located at 12 Bridge Street, White Springs, Florida. We have a headquarters (HQ) building with a large interacting area, kitchen, bathroom, and showers (with hot water!). Most of our off-road riding areas are within riding distance from HQ. There is also awesome road riding from this area. Maps are available at HQ for both types of riding. Most of our events are hosted from headquarters.

Directions to Headquarters
Coming from the east: take Exit 43 on I-10 and go north on US 41 for 8 miles (about 1-1/2 hours from Jacksonville)
Coming from the north or south on I-75: take Exit 439, then go east on State Road 136 for three miles Coming from the west: take Exit 41 on I-10 and turn north (right)on SR 137, then turn east (right) on SR 136, follow the signs to White Springs which is about 6 miles. (about 1-1/2 hours from Tallahassee) SBA

HQ is a half block north of the intersection of US 41 and SR 136 (at the flashing light), on Bridge Street. It's the first brick building on the right.

SBA Open House Weekends
Everyone is welcome to join us at our open house weekends. This is a very casual weekend designed for members to socialize and for non-members to become more familiar with SBA Headquarters. Off-road rides generally leave from SBA HQ between 9 am and 10 am on Saturday and Sunday. Riders usually discuss where the rides take place. Road Rides are sometimes organized for the weekend, but maps are available at headquarters if you wish to ride on your own. Please see the Road-Riding page for more information.

Suwannee Bicycle Gazette
The Suwannee Bicycle Gazette, SBA’s quarterly publication, is distributed in January, April, July and October. Contributions (articles, essays, artwork, letters, classified ads, etc.) are welcome and should be submitted no later than three weeks prior to the month published.
