An SBA jersey is on order in limited numbers. The first order of 30 jerseys should be in around Fat Tire Festival. If you are interested please let us know, sachase@cox.net. We will be putting together a 2nd order (perhaps with matching shorts). Price is $50 for members and $65 for non-members.
I am very sad to share the news that ride guide extraordinare, trail builder, board member, headquarters fixer upper ....our friend..Rick Shore passed away last Saturday morning while riding the trails of Dupont, NC with some other SBA members. It was a sudden cardiac event and he did not suffer. He was doing what he loved best, riding his 29'ner with friends on a beautiful day in NC. He was a friend, an inspiration and a mentor to many. He was our former treasurer and a current board member. He was working hand in hand with Tony on building our new trail inside the state park.
SBA will plan a special time to recognize his contributions and passing at White Springs in the future. However, for those of you in the Jacksonville area, his family and friends are hosting at a gathering and celebration of his life at the Shore home on St. Augustine Boulevard in Jacksonville Beach beginning at 4 p.m. this Friday.

Let's all remember Rick's dedication and enthusiasm for SBA and living life to the fullest and strive to keep his spirit alive within us and SBA. He will be sorely missed.

Stephen Foster State Park’s new 10 mi. single track loop trail will be finished and
ready to ride in Sept. Tony Beavor and Rick Shore are working tirelessly to complete the last four miles, so that we can then build a bridge over one of the ravines. This
trail will offer riders some great scenery with fun, challenging terrain.
