Spring Hop Weekend - Jun 8 - 9, 2023

Canoe & Kayak Trip

(Members only) $10 individual

The trip will experience a section of the Middle Suwannee River with an overnight at the Adams Tract River Camp. The Middle Suwannee is known as spring country.

Camping: We will camp on Saturday evening at the Adams Tract River Camp in the sleeping platforms. For those wanting to tent camp sites will be available. The River Camp has restrooms with showers and sleeping platforms, all you need is a sleeping pad and bag. Participants should bring a brown bag lunch for Saturday or we will stop at River Rendezvous for lunch and food for the evening meal. Sunday morning breakfast and lunch is on your own. Participants are responsible for all food, snacks and water.

Canoe/Kayak Rentals: Participants needing to rent canoes or kayaks may do so from Canoe Suwannee 386-294-1319 or www.canoesuwannee.com. Canoe Suwannee is located in Mayo.

Cost: $10.00 per person – The trip is limited to 24 participants and must be a member of Suwannee Bicycle Association.
