Committee Info

At the Annual Meeting on January 13th, 2007 organizational committees were formed to organize our events and activities and to help promote them and the club.

If anyone is interested in being on one or more of the committees please let me know! You must be current 2007 SBA member. Each committee job description is listed and each member must stay in contact with other members via phone and internet. Committee Chairman will be decided on by the committee.
The committees are:

Promotions and Marketing
Advertise and promote all of our events, make up and print out club brochures for distribution, make up a distribution list, design t-shirts for events, membership recruitment, find and assign volunteers for Bike Shop liaisons, assigns volunteers for registration at all events. *Marketing or publication experience welcome!

Road Crew Create new maps of all road rides, road marking, ride leader training, do event road riding schedules for all events and assign volunteers for all events	Off Road Crew Create new maps for all off road trails, trail maintenance, ride guide training, do event off road riding schedules for all events and assign volunteers for all events

*We could use someone with some extensive GPS and mapping experience in both committee

Paddling Crew Create SBA maps for all paddling trails, arrange transportation for all trips, Canoe Shop Liasion, Ride Leader training, scheduling of event trips and volunteer assignments for all events	Food and Kitchen Food planning for each event, inventory of kitchen updated, organize area, keep stocked of basic items, paper goods, staples, liaison with caterers, assigns volunteers for food service jobs at all event

Special Activites Fun Rides, Entertainment, Movies, Bonfires, etc, assigning volunteers for each event activities needs.	Building Repairs, upkeep and improvements, liaison with repair people, finding volunteers for building needs
